What should you charge for cash visits?

Your hourly rate here is what is left before taxes, after drive time and costs, for the hours you spend in sessions and behind the wheel. What your PRN shift pays may not include those invisible costs. Your numbers stay in your browser; nothing you type is saved or sent. Like every page here, this one loads Google Analytics and Google Fonts.

PRN comparison
Drive time is eating this business. Tighten the radius or raise the rate: every visit costs of its session time in windshield.
At these numbers, PRN shifts pay better than your own practice. Raise the rate, shrink the radius, or add visits per trip (two clients in one building is the cheat code).
Reminders: set aside about 25–30% of net for self-employment and income tax. Rate benchmarks vary by metro. Mileage may be deductible; track it from day one, and ask your CPA.
