Privacy at Homefield Advisory

This page explains what information we collect when you buy a product or use our portal, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it plain on purpose.

What we collect

Information you give us and we create

Your name and email address, when you buy a product or set up your account.
Your password, which we store only in an encrypted (hashed) form. We cannot read it.
Any files or details you upload into your portal document area.
Basic records of your account activity, kept to run the service and keep it secure.

We do not collect your card number. When you pay, you enter your card details directly with Stripe, our payment processor, and Stripe handles them. We receive a confirmation that you paid, not your full card details.

How we use it

To run the portal and support you

To create and manage your account and give you access to what you bought.
To send you account emails, such as your setup link, password resets, and important notices.
To answer your questions and provide support.
To keep the service secure and to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to advertise to you.

Who else touches it

The service providers we rely on

We use a small set of trusted companies to run the service. They handle your information only to do their job for us:

Stripe processes payments.
Resend delivers our account emails.
Render hosts the portal and stores its data.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.

One cookie, to keep you logged in

When you log in, we set a session cookie so the portal remembers you as you move between pages. It is required for the portal to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping it safe

How we protect your information

We send data over encrypted connections, store passwords in hashed form, and limit who can reach your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise it can never be breached, but we work to protect it and to fix problems quickly.

How long we keep it

While you have an account, and a little beyond

We keep your information for as long as you have an account with us, and after that only as long as we need it to meet legal, tax, or record-keeping obligations. Ask us to close your account and we will delete what we are not required to keep.

Your choices

See, correct, or delete your information

Email us and we will help you see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have added rights under your local privacy laws, and we will honor them.

Children

Not intended for children

This portal is for professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
